As part of the XXI° Triennale Internazionale di Milano has opened April the 2nd the exhibition "Brilliant! The Futures of Italian Jewellery, curated by Alba Cappellieri.
presents a selection of more than 50 Italian jewels made by masters and young talents, skilled artisans and jewellery companies. The works are an expression of the highest manufacturing skills and the finest industrial production, in a harmonious blend of art, design, fashion and new technologies.
Antonini is invited to participate with the beautiful necklace part of the "Anniversary" collection, one of the most iconic of the brand, designed in 2009 by Sergio Antonini for ninety company anniversary. The necklace is a masterpiece of matt rose gold and champagne diamonds and it is counted in the "Everyday Beauty” section of the exhibition.
Brilliant! Is opened till September 12th 2016 and returns jewellery to the Triennale di Milano International Exhibition, going back to the historical tradition of the Triennales. A fine example of this was the X Triennale in 1954, which showed Salvador Dalí’s collection of 21 jewels, and another was the XI Triennale in 1957, with an exhibition curated by Arnaldo and Giò Pomodoro on the jewellery made by such avant-garde artists as Bruno Martinazzi, Emilio Scanavino, Lorenzo Guerrini and Ettore Sottsass.
