The Andrea Palladio International Jewellery Awards, which originated in Vicenza, the City of Palladio, are internationally renowned recognitions for the very best of contemporary jewellery, much coveted by gold and jewellery brands and designers worldwide: a sort of “Oscar of the jewelry” that every year takes place along the opening event of Vicenzaoro. The awards were presented to some of the most illustrious names in the sector at past editions including Van Cleef & Arpels, Cartier, Stephen Webster, Bulgari, Gianmaria Buccellati, Tiffany & Co., Fabergè and Pomellato. The finalist shortlist was defined after lengthy and scrupulous selection and analysis, based on factors of merit, by a first-class international Jury and a Commission of Experts: Silvana Annicchiarico, Triennale Design Museum Milano director, Alba Cappellieri, professor at Design del Gioiello Politecnico di Milano and Clare Phillips, Curator at Victoria & Albert Museum London. Antonini was awarded in the category “Best Italian brand collection” with Siracusa collection among these firms: Camilli, Crivelli, Palmiero, Pomellato and Vendorafa.
