Sidi Bou Said
Milan, June 2026 – Antonini Milano revisits one of its most cherished and iconic collections, drawing from its archives the original designs for a necklace and earrings, and expanding the line with a brand-new ring. The collection takes its name and spirit from Sidi Bou Said, the celebrated Tunisian hilltop village whose early morning Mediterranean light inspired its clean, slender lines and whose iconic arched doorways are echoed in the recurring oval forms throughout.
Over the years, Sidi Bou Said has served as both an inspiration and a haven for artists from across Europe, among them Paul Klee, contributing to a rich cultural scene that gave rise to a thriving community of local and international art galleries.
The collection is light and versatile, perfectly aligning with the contemporary preference for almost weightless jewellery: a ring that stands primarily as a piece of design, a necklace that intertwines a succession of ovals, and drop earrings that carry the necklace’s motif into a smaller, suspended form.
The result is a subtle, whispered luxury—a lightweight design that resonates directly with a younger generation increasingly drawn to pieces which favour an essential and remarkably light aesthetic.
